This is a very comfortable cottage in the centre of Wanlockhead. It has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The view from the lounge is a great destresser with the sheep & rabbits roaming about. It is an ideal central location to do some geocaching with plenty of caches in the surrounding areas. This was our main reason for visit & we were not disappointed. The owner is very quick & clear in his communication which is really helpful. Check in/ out arrangements were ideal too. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Gran's Cottage is set right in the heart of the beautiful village of Wanlockhead, with its' stunning rolling hills, friendly neighbours and peaceful community. The views are to die for and it is a joy to see sheep roaming freely. The cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped, a real home from home. Lots of great walks on the doorstep. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Grans cottage with my family who have come over for a holiday from Panama City. I was scared they wouldn’t like the area as their country is soo beautiful itself. But Scott’s Grans cottage was truly amazing!!! Everything’s is better than what you see in pictures. The views are incredible and the cottage is the best place I’ve ever been too. Even my family from abroad can’t stop singing praises about this incredible place. Sparkling clean and just amazing! Worth every penny. Can’t wait to visits again :) Thank youuuuuu :)

excellent , cosy , great views | After visiting this village for over 18 years and staying in Gold pan cottage. This is the first time staying in Grans cottage. The cottage is not modern but very cosy and only needed to take food and clothing everything provided. The cottage in itself is huge inside, was very surprised how big it was very much like a Tardis. Great views from the living room. lovely walks, pub on the doorstep. Villagers very welcoming. Great carparking space. Scott was very helpful. The cottage was very clean and the beds cosy. would highly recommend and will be booking again in the summer.

Lovely cottage. Second time staying at this lovely cottage. Cottage has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Nice location away from it all nice relaxing place to stay. Scott and Jean are very nice helpful people.
